About Active Reason Design

Active Reason Design is a small, bespoke branding & graphic design studio created, owned and operated by me, graphic designer Ben Haskins. I created this business because I'm passionate about  high quality branding & design and I wanted to help businesses share their visions through great design. I enjoy working with entrepreneurs building their brands that look fantastic and resonate with their audience.

Branding Expertise

My area of expertise is branding, so I have designed a lot of logos. When I work on a brand I provide much more than a logo. Together we create a blueprint fo the look and feel and tone of your brand. Colours, fonts, Pantone matching codes, the quality is in the details. I make sure you end up with a brand that speaks an emotional language that resonates with your audience.

Being a designer for over 20 years I've made a lot of friends along the way. If I'm working on a project with you and you are looking for a digital or offset printing, copywriting, signage, photography, videography, digital or offset printing, I have my connections. These are individuals or companies that I have built relationships over the years and I trust to handle my clients needs. I have very exacting standards. 

Owner - Graphic Designer 

My love for good design started with a stack of my Dad's albums, spending hours pouring over the different covers. I was entranced by these covers and loved the amount of detail and stark visual statement graphic artists created in just 12 inches of space. My favourite covers were those iconic designs captured the emotive of the music. When I was five, I decided I was going to be a designer. 

I was design educated at OCAD and have been providing branding, packaging, graphic design services ever since. My career started in Pharmaceutical marketing and packaging. In 2004 I started Active Reason Design, my own graphic design & marketing business because I really wanted to help local businesses up their marketing game with great design. 

Now, with over 20 years experience as a graphic designer,I help my clients achieve peak resonance with their audiences.
